How do i get sound on my xbox/monitor?

I need audio and sound on my computer, but how can i get it?

  • okay you i had a thing called sound-max and my stupid lil brother deleted it from the computer without even knowing what it was for. he made a very crucial mistake and now i cant hear a thing on my computer. i cant hear sound nor audio i cant even listen to the windows media player now. unfortunately i don't know how to get the sound back... can some one help me get my sound back. maybe even to me how to get a better sound or audio... i don't really know much about these things.. but i need some sound at least good sound

    You have a SoundMAX sound card in your computer. What happened is that the audio drivers were removed from the computer so now the card is not recognized anymore. There are a few possible fixes for this issue. 1. If you have a driver disk that came with your computer you should be able to reinstall the driver from that. 2. Go to your computer manufacturer's website. You should also be able to download the necessary driver for your specific computer model if you don't have a driver disk.

Go to sound-max web site & look for you model & download the drivers. OR, don't you have the CD that came with the speakers?

U get Sound max with the mother board cd. I need the mother model for exact help. i guess intel MB So just reinstall the audio drivers , to do this insert the cd , installer will run. In the list audio drivers should show up as installed as it was not removed properly. Uninstall and reinstall. Soundmax will install with it. Other option search for the latest version of soundmax on the net that is compatible with ur OS.U will get a exe file execute it.

if audio/sound card is original card which came with the computer, you may be able to download and install the latest software/driver for your computer's operating system from the computer manufacturer's website. btw, i googled it and found sites offering sofware/driver for download. good luck!

Soundmax is the name of the audio driver for the sound card in your computer. If you can tell me the manufacturer and model of your PC such as Dell Optiplex GX240 or whatever it is you bought I can help you find a driver download. Once you download and reinstall the driver your sound should start working again. The only way to get better sound than you had before is to buy a new sound card and probably better speakers
