Can anyone recommend some decent older games that won't freeze my system?

    try the games you can buy like red ant and other cheap ones but other wise try games like sims 1 and thing or if you like war Empire earth is great

Well, what kind of games do you like? Your system won't run the new 3D games, but judging from your selection of games above in your question I'm thinking you like strategy games, "Age of Empires II" in a bundle with an expansion pack is quite cheap and it's fun, it's still one of my favourite games and no doubt your system will be able to run it, "Command And conqueror" games I heard are good and the old ones, they offer a pack with a bunch of them and expansion packs all combined but you might not like Command and conqueror....and the older "Civilization" games your system will be able to handle and will be fun. Try to find some game stores where they offer older games, usually for great bargain prices, you can find some cheap hit titles.
