How do i delete my internet history?

How do i delete my internet history on the whole hard drive?

  • does it delete all of your files? such as: My Documents, My Music and My Pictures does it delete the internet history from all the computer or just your account if you are on? i don't want to download anything so please suggest what i can do if i delete the cookies what does that do because it is an option that people have suggested before?

    LOL calm down just delete it as you normally would, then find your tempory internet files in your c: drive and clear that folder. This will not harm anything and wipe your history. Deleting cookies is also essential to wipe all evidence. Hope this helps :)

I don't believe you can completely erase the history on the hard drive . Not without buying some kind of eraser. You can buy them almost anywhere for around $25.You just run the program and it erases everything (useless) and doesn't harm anything else.

if you have vista you go to tools, then 'delete browsing history' then tick which ones you want deleted. thsi will get rid of sites oyu have visited, cookies, temporary files, and passwords that are memorised on your pc. but it does not touch your files. also it can be good to go through your files sometimes, just to see what is saved where. but your files will be safe,
