Where can I get the original Half-Life for PC?

Best answer for 10 points! Should I sell this PC and get a new one?

  • I've had my old pc a little over a year now. The specs are decent (Nvidia 9500GT, AMD dual core @ 2.8Ghz) But the prices for computers on newegg.com (where I originally bought my gaming PC) are unbeatable. I originally bought my PC for a little over $500 dollars last summer, and I wanted to get a PC with a better video card and processor (NVIDIA GeForce GT 220, Phenom II X4 9453.0GHz) that cannot be replaced with my own computer parts even if I wanted to. The computer I want to buy now is $709 dollars. I could upgrade my video card, but my computer cannot support the video card that I wanted with the new computer. ^^ I can only replace my Nvidia 9500 gt with an Nvidia 9800 Gt. I was thinking of selling my old pc with my nice view sonic monitor (22 inch 6 resp time) for maybe around $500-600 dollars. Then I was going to save up over the summer to make up the difference so I can buy the newer PC. I'm mainly purchasing this computer mainly for gaming, and other tasks. Do you think I should just upgrade the parts on my old computer even though they wont be as good as the parts in the new one? Or should I just sell my PC w/ monitor and everything for a good price and make up the difference?

well i recommend you to sell this gaming pc and buy a new one .. but if you want to sell it then sell the hole computer cuz it well have a better price ... and next time dont buy a gamming pc .. just buy a normal one and buy a very good videocard ..

Personally, if my computer was only a year old and still working perfectly i wouldn't bother, but if your a hardcore gamer and need more sheer power then go for it!

you cant upgrade the parts unless you upgrade the motherboard... and if you do that you gotta replace tons of stuff eventually its a brand new computer.... just get a new one

Upgrade the older PC. This way you don't have to deal with backing up all of your files. And I love newegg =D

well I would never sell your monitor because there is no point too. I would guess that you are not selling your computer online or buying online since you did not write down any thing about the computer you are thinking about buying I cant really tell you one way or the other make sure you write down every thing about both computer ram, hard drive, processor, video card and tell the specs on the video card like ram and what type of ram and same with processor how much cache memory does it have? You just are not giving enough information.

Sell your current computer and buy the new one as its better and newer model.
