Well i'm not a computer electrician but what I do know almost for sure is your problem is with your motherboard. The best way to figure out what exactly is wrong with a computer is process of elimination. If the computer has power, then the power supply isn't completely fried... A good way of telling that the motherboard is fried a lot of times is if when you turn the computer on, the front power switch will NOT turn it off, usually that means that there is no communication from your mobo to your jumpers. If you would like to check the power supply you can do a voltage test to make sure it is outputting the correct voltage readings. http://www.hardwareheaven.com/guides/testingPSU/ That link will show you how to do that. If the computer is still under warranty I would recommend sending it out, if not try what I said so far... another thing you can try is unplugging everything and spraying a little bit of compressed air in the power slots to make sure there is no dust in there keeping the power flow from working properly. If you turn on the computer and there is just a drone of the fans with no change in speed (as if when its starting up it gets louder) then there is definitely an issue somewhere with the mobo.

did you try to take out ram? take one of the rams and see if it is working, then put that ram back and take another out. if you have only one ram, then buy new one and check it, you can always give it back if it is not the problem.

Things to pay attention to when you power it up... Do the fans turn on at all? If they come on then immediately shut off = power supply There is a wire that comes from the motherboard that tells the power supply to either stay on or shutdown. This is because it is checking a particular voltage, if that voltage is not correct it will shutdown. The fact that you have a light on at all indicates that there is a voltage being generated from the motherboard but that does not mean "all" the voltages are good. If you replace the PSU purchase one that is rated 150 watts higher than the one you removed.

ok, step by step action: 1. listen to the pc, after you turn on the computer, usually you will hear one short "beep". Remember, only one. If you hear two beeps, or long beep, means something wrong with your motherboard. (each beep actually represent unique code of failure). a long repeated beeps is a code failure with the memory. one long beep usually a code failure with the processor. i dont remember all, but if the you hear those beeps, means you should go to service center. 2. assuming that you hear the normal beep. nothings come out on the monitor. You should check your monitor, may be its broken. or.... you check the power supply of the CPU. if the power supply broken, it might not provide enough electricity for the monitor also. 3. the first action to this case, the simple that you can do by your self is to open the cpu. unplug every cable inside the cpu (hard disk, cdrom, dvd, floppy, usb, printer, except the monitor) try to turn on the computer. If the computer doesnt start at all, better you go to service center. if the computer works normal, then you turn it off and plug each device one by one. in that way you can find the problem.

4 da display try pluggin the monitor into the motherboards display and then run it. if ur mouse and keyboard is usin usb then get an actual mouse and keyboard adapter. cuz wen u do it with usb it is direct, it takes time 2 load. if that doesnt work sumthings wrong with ya motherboard.
