How easy is it to build a PC?
-
Thanks for looking at my question... I currently have a MacBook Pro (Brilliant for everything but game playing!), but would like a gaming PC to, well... play games on! Building a PC is much cheaper than buying it new and its the satisfaction you get as-well!!! I don't really have any experience with building PC's. I am under 18, so I consider myself an amateur. But I have read up online for several months and watched videos on YouTube about it almost every day! I do feel pretty confident, but I do have a cousin who takes a college course in PC building etc, so I'll ask him if it all goes pear-shaped! How easy is the assembly? How easy is it to install the operating system on an SSD and pictures / iTunes on the large HDD?? How easy to install the drivers? How long will the assembly take? etc etc This is the specs: Processor: Intel Core i7 3930K Enthusiast Unlocked, S 2011, Sandybridge-E, Six Core, 3.2GHz, 12MB Smart Cache Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Extreme/BF3, Intel X79, S 2011, DDR3, SATA III - 6Gb/s, SATA RAID, PCIe 3.0 (x16), Enhanced E-ATX Main Storage: 1TB Western Digital WD10EZRX Caviar Green, 3.5" HDD, SATA III - 6Gb/s, IntelliPower, 64MB Cache, 8ms OS / Game storage: 120GB Corsair Force Series 3, 2.5" SSD, SATA III - 6Gb/s, SandForce, Read 550Mb/s, Write 510Mb/s, 85,000 IOPS, PC/MAC.
