Does anyone drive a Nissian Marano, Maxima or Ultima?

Can anyone help me to install win7 on my E drive while I'm using the C drive (without the DVD drive)?

My C drive has been showing signs of getting ready to die lately and I've decided to use my spare drive. The spare drive is an IDE drive, however, and since the genius who designed my case didn't take IDE cable length into account, I can't connect both my DVD drive AND my IDE drive at the same time no matter what I do. I won't be able to buy another sata drive for at least 2 or 3 weeks, and I don't want to risk being stuck without a PC for half a month either. I was thinking about getting my win7 dvd in iso form, mounting it while I'm in windows (using the near-death C drive) and installing win7 on my spare drive (E drive) whereafter I'll be using the spare drive as my C drive (I'll most likely format the dying one afterwards). Is it possible?

no. thats not possible. you have to boot from cd/dvd with win7 or any other os for that matter. you might be able to do an upgrade but once it reboots, will not install, due to it will have to install from the windows kernel not the gui.
