What's the largest computer monitor I can buy?

Looking to buy my parents a really nice computer?

  • I want to spend around $5,000 on it but don't want to build it myself. Whats the most powerful computer i can buy for $5,000? I want the monitor included with the price also. Would dell have any nice ones? Looking for 12 gig DDR3 ram minimum also. My little brother plays all the latest games so a good graphics card is also needed. -thanks

    the most powerful you can find on the market is a mac-pro -you have not seen power until you've seen this computer! this mac is capable of running os x lion and windows and any windows! it has 12 cores of pure power (an intel xeon) the graphics are as intense as the human eye can define! 1 TB of H-drive(you can't even fill that kind of space!) 6GIGS of memory THE PERFECT (only needed accessory) the LED HD 27 inch display $6,000 not including taxes

You really dont have to spend that much. You can get a pretty powerful rig for around $2k. Save the money and do it again in 3 years ;) But if you really want to spend the money, I would be happy to build you a monster of a system.
