What is wrong with my PC? Each time I take my disc out of D drive my windows shuts down with error message.?

It says,"A problem has been detected & windows have been shut down to prevent damage to your pc.If this is the frist time you've seen this stop error, restart you computer. If this screen apprears again, check for bios update. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. Beginning dump of physical memory.Physical memory dump complete". STOP: 0X00000007E(0XC0000005,0x800E 494F,0VF7A,19C30,0XF7A199ZX) I checked my device manager, it's all working ok. Not sure what caching or shadowing is. I also don't want to disable anything in the BIOS without fully understand what the result might be. What does updating the BIOS do to my PC? Where can I get BIOS updates? I have a 2005 Dell PC. Is there something wrong with my disc drive? as it happens only when I take my disc out not inserting the disc.Thank you very much in advance

Answer:
this sounds so strangely familiar my disc drive in my 2004 dell stopped working 90 percent of the time from those messages Whatever is happening, the pc can't recover from it by itself did you try running antivirus, spyware, and adaware programs to see if viruses are messing with your drives? research this on microsoft.com cuz i remembering seeing this information on microsoft. They are the people you can trust the most. Cache is an invisible memory space that doesnt exist physically on your pc. Your computer creates this on RAM so if you disable it, your pc won't have this extra memory space...it wont create it.
