Powered 7 port USB hub lag when on full screen?

  • Hi everyone, I'm running out of USB ports on my computer so I decided to buy a USB hub. At first, I got a dynex powered 7 port usb hub. It works fine but when I go on full screen on a game or video such as youtube or veoh, it lags greatly. I had my mouse on the hub and it would lag by 1-2s. I had 1 other device, a usb phone, attached to the device and the phone would say USB missing, intermittently. I thought it might be the hub, so I went to another store and got a Nexxtech 7 port powered USB hub. Same problem. Can anyone help with the problem? Thanks a lot.

    maybe you need to update the driver go to Start search type in device manager click on that then search for your usb hub in the menus right click on it and update also if you computer is older then 4 years the usb ports are called 1.1 which is slower then the modern usb hub which is 2.0 so you may need to upgrade your computer actual usb port hope this helped
