Why won't my webcam work on the latest version on msn?

My Webcam Wont Work - Help?

Ok so, I have a built in webcam on my laptop so i cant uninstall it. The problem is, it works with a certain few people on msn, and others it doesnt. I dunno why! Ive tried changing the webcam and setting it up loads of times etc. But it just wont work on those certain people, even if i restart my computer. And whoever my cam doesnt connect with, theyre doesnt work with me either. I tried downloading an older version of msn, but then a notification pops up saying i cant log on unless i use the latest version! What the hell! Anyone got any advice?

hi . you have answered your own problem..... some people cannot see you / because differant versions of messanger are being used.. it seems to be messanger 8.5 ...was the most stable to use for this reason.... bye
