Webcam problem please help?

i have a pcline 300k webcam and cannot find the instillation cd im not a computer wiz and i dont know what i need to do i have installed software and amcap when i try to detect the cam it says there is no video capture hardware can anyone tell me what i need to do have been searching google for ages please can anyone help me it doin me head in thanx xx

hi kelly dont worry,we all do it... buy a webcam or printer and throw away or misplace the driver cd... however nine times out of ten the disk will be out of date,so you better off downloading the latest version of the driver which in your case can be downloaded from http://www.davesdrivers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=269 i tried to find the pcline website,however it seems they are a far east based company and at the moment they dont have any official website.... but the above website namely "daves drivers" is ok to use ( no malware ) and by clicking the link a download will start ( i tried it myself and it does work ) tip : install the drivers before turning on your webcam.... this is the best method as the drivers will allready be there for windows to find and install i hope this has helped kelly,any questions let me know good luck !
