P-c usb tv tuner ????

hey ive been havin problems with streaming tv on the internet(buffering and u can hardly watch it) i rang optus to see if it was my internet or somthing else and he sed it was'nt the internet it was tht i needed a tv tunner usb, tht is $200 im welling to pay for it , but i dnt wont to get it and then find out tht i didnt need it? so i was woundering if i need it?

Answer:
A TV Tuner will not affect your ability to watch true streaming tv on the internet. A TV Tuner will allow you to connect your cable directly to your computer and watch tv on your computer the same as you would on the tv. If you are watching episodes of tv shows from websites, a tv tuner will not help.
