My computer has a dvd/cd-rw drive, I realize I can burn CDs but dose that also mean I can burn DVDs? Just like to know before I go out and buy blank DVDs! Thanks.

NO. It can only burn CDs. NOT DVDs. If it was able to burn DVDs, it would say DVD/DVD-RW drive. All DVD burners can also burn CDs.
