Does the GE VOIP Webcam Bundle work for MSN?

Why won't my webcam work?

  • I have a new GE MiniCam Pro 98067. I've downloaded the software just like I'm supposed to. When I try to use the cam in any application (webcam settings, video software, msn messenger), it's just a black or grey screen and no video works even though the cam light is on and my computer recognizes it. My old webcam started doing this too, so I bought another one and the video worked, but due to other problems I had to exchange it for this GE one, and I'm having the same problems as before. What can possibly be wrong? Any help is appreciated!

    Dont plug it into a different usb port because windows will have to reload the drivers again (Found new hardware) Goto device manager- expand on imaging devices - right click your cam - scan for hardware changes, This will locate where the cam is plugged...now try it
