How can I connect Bluetooth headset?

How do I connect my bluetooth headset with my PC?

I bought a bluetooth headset for my PC today and since my laptop doesn't have bluetooth built in, I bought a bluetooth adapter as well. Now the headset are model BTH002 and they seem to connect fine with my computer. In the package I also got a transmitter of model BTT005. Now this one on the other hand doesn't seem to be able to connect with the computer. My computer recognizes the headset and I can play music through them, but the microphone doesn't work. What does the transmitter do? The manual doesn't give much information at all

Generally speaking, Bluetooth adapters are Bluetooth adapters. They all have the same functionality, as long as the software supports extended functionality. If your computer doesn't recognize the Bluetooth microphone in your headset, it's not going to work with your computer.
