How do i install speakers?

i just did a system recovery and apparently it deinstalled my speakers and i cant seem to find where to install them agian. please help?

you need to be way more specific on the type of speakers or system you are working on before i can direct you in the direction you need to go to reinstall them. sorry. What you could try doing is uninstalling the sound card drivers completely by right clicking on the 'My Computer' icon, then clicking on Properties. Go to the Hardware tab and then to the 'Device Manager'. Look in the Sound, Video, and Game controllers drop-down for the sound card you have. If you dont know your sound card, the info can be found online by searching your computer model or by looking in the spec sheet if you still have it. To uninstall something.... just right click it and then 'uninstall'. However, I would only do this if AFTER you find out what your sound card is and then where to get the driver. If you still have the installation cds that came with your computer, it is likely that the driver would be on there.
