How to change RAM frequency outside of BIOS?
-
Basically, my RAM is playing havoc since I have upgraded to Windows 7, and I have 2 different RAM sets in. I have the original, but I upgraded with another 2gb of RAM, they are both in the computer, but I think that they are running at different speeds. I have tried going into BIOS (I am running a Asus X58C laptop) and can't change it... So, is there any programs that allow you to change it outside of BIOS that are free? Thanks

Answer:
ram will not and cannot run at different speeds, check with http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php to see how fast there running.
