Why isnt my webcam working?

so ive had my mac book pro for about 9 months, and for some reason the webcam isnt working on any online sits. it works fine with photobooth but it doesnt work on chatroullette or any other video chat type things. last time this happened i just downloaded another online server, i downloaded google chrome when previously i had safari... but now its not working again... what do i do?

Hey have you ever installed the thingie for Google Voice and Video? That screwed up my webcam in other programs for awhile, at least when I tried Facebook Video Chat Rounds anyway (try it on there anyway -- it works better than ChatRoulette usually - http://apps.facebook.com/chatrounds/?publisherid=elena&campaignid=YA&bannerid=0 ). Anyway, once I deinstalled the Google plug-in it worked fine. So try that -- To uninstall in Mac OS X: In Finder, navigate to Applications > Utilities Open the Terminal application. Copy and paste the following command into the window: ./Library/Application Support/Google/GoogleVoiceAndVideoUninst… Press Enter on your keyboard. Hope that helps! =)
