My oyster card has stopped working?

Graphics card stopped working?

  • my Nvidia Geforce 310m stopped working today. Just before it stopped working my computer crashed and said to insert the reboot disk or something. My graphics card now cant be recognized at all and even if i go into device manger its not there, only me integrated is. Its not a driver issue and i had it on my bed for under five minutes when it crashed

  • Answer:

Yeah if it aint showing in the device manager its most likely a very ill card or mobo or as inferred re-seat it, that always worth a try. Its not the best card in the world treat yourself to new one, you know it makes sense

The same thing happened to my integrated graphics card. I tried turning my computer on, but I would get nothing but a black screen. I bought a new graphics card which temporarily fixed the problem until it just suddenly crashed on me every 5-10 minutes after starting the computer. I then realized that my graphics card needed a larger power supply to operate, so I went out and got one and replaced it. I suggest you check the reccommendations for your graphics card and see if your current computer fits the requirements, If not, find the parts that will work with it. If it still doesn't work, it would be most likely that you've disrupted your graphics card (killed it by overheating or something else). If that is the case, try to shutdown the computer or put it in sleep mode when you're not using it. Hope this helped!
