Whats a good re-placement power supply? (Details on my Desktop inside)?

  • Hey, so im mid way through the process of buying a new Power Supply Unit for my PC (Please, no-one say i should just get a new PC, just please try and help me) Ok so at the moment i have a 220w power supply and i want it around 400-500 to support my graphics card (I've tested the graph card, it works fine and i love the improvement, but i cant keep it on for long because my PSU will overheat from working to hard) So i was wondering what would be a good replacement My desktop: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-eMachines-Desktop-Celeron-Keyboard/dp/B00511F7N8 Current Power Supply: http://microdream.co.uk/acer-aspire-x3200-liteon-pe-5221-08-psu-power-supply.html Mainboard: eMachines EL1850 One thing im abit weary about.. In my case when i take out the power supply, it has 2 screws to keep it in place towards the back of the desktop case, and then another one at the other end to screw onto the side.. So im thinking only power supplies the same size and width and the one i have at the moment can be used? (Correct me if im wrong) Thanks to anyone who can help, MUCH appreciated

    The back plate should have extra screw holes for universal fit of standard atx power supply,the side bracket can be unscrew from the case and put on the new psu,to screw it in the side
