Can I use a bluetooth Headset as a Microphone?

I have a Bluetooth headset and I have recently purchased a bluetooth USB adapter for my PC to recognise the headset I know I can make VOIP calls etc with it, but is it possible to use the headset as a general microphone over MSN chat, games etc?

yes u can , i have tried it for voip & messenger just change the sound device & choose the bluetooth but sound quality i think will be less a bit
