Why Does My Usb Drive Show 0 Bytes?

Sandisk Cruzer USB won't show files, asks to reformat`?

  • Have a Sandisk Cruzer 4G USB drive. Bought it, loaded tons of important stuff on it, kept using it. Last week computer now won't show any files and says it's not formatted and has to be formatted. My computer properties shows 0 bytes being used and 0 bytes available. Uh oh. How can I get my stuff off of it?

  • Answer:

hum you would need to take it to a professional to have them recover the data off of it, (try data doctors or and electronics store, they will now someone local who can) it seems that it has been corrupted, reformatting it will fix it, but you will lose everything on it
