Dsi sd card question?

Computer not recognizing DSi sd card?

  • I just got a Lexar Gaming edition sd card and put it in my computer's sd card reader. I also plugged in my internet usb into the same panel that the card reader is on. The Card reader's light turned green when I put the card in, and my internet worked, but when I went into explore I couldn't find the card, also nothing came up when I put the card in.

  • Answer:

I don't know if this will work, but I have a portable hardrive that plugs into my USB drive, and in order to access it I had to assign a drive letter to it.

Troubleshoot the card to make sure its not defective my trying it into a different machine. Make sure your drivers are all up to date. Pirated windows version have difficulty working with Card Readers so make sure you don't have pirate copy of windows. If you can get it to work on another computer, try formatting it to meet the same partition of your hard drive (NTFS or FAT32 most likely) Still not working? Try using another card, if that works, then you may have a old card reader unable to handle the newer SD cards. Mine has the same problem, cant read card sizes over 2 gigs.
