Help! Installing new graphics card on my Dell xps 410!?
-
Hi I decided to upgrade my old nvidia 7300 LE graphics card to nvidia gtx 260. Since I never replaced any graphics card before it took me about 30 mins to figure out which card do I take out and how do I take it out. After figuring this out I inserted the gtx 260 into the slot making sure it is firmly placed. Then I connected all the wires including the monitor and when I turned on my computer my monitor didn't get any signal it is black not responding. I disabled the nvidia driver in the device manager I also removed any nvidia drivers from my comp. Only thing that worries me is that the card has 2 (6 hole) power supply docks but my computer only has 1(6 hole) plug. I'm using Dell xps 410 what do I do guys? And thanks in advance.
