ATI 5750 is sharing Ram?
-
Hi, I just recently upgraded my computer's video card to an ati 5750 512mb gddr5. My computer has 2gb of ddr2 ram. When I check the video card on control panel it says: Total Available Graphics memory: 1150mb Dedicated Video Memory: 512mb System Video Memory: 0mb Shared System memory: 638mb. I have 2gb ram installed but when I check it says there is only 1.7gb. Why is my video card sharing ram? And also why is my Ram at 1.7gb when there is 2gb installed?

Answer:
Uh, gfx cards dont share ram unless its a intergrated one lol Some rams just on reserve. Or you still have your intergrated card setup in your BiOS...
