How to update Video Drivers?!?

  • I recently got The Sims 3 game. I can play it for about 15 min before if freezes, the screen goes black and a :"Display Driver has stopped Working normally" message pops up. Apparently it has something to do with updating drivers? How do I go about doing that? Has anyone else had this problem?. INFO*** *I have a desktop computer, it's a Optiquest Q13wb... It's manufactured by DELL *My "Display Adapter" Is Intel(R) 8295G/GV/910GL Chipset Family *My "Plug and Play Monitor on Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910G1 Express Chipset And it has a date next to the info about the driver... It says it's from 2005? So I clicked the "Update" Button next to it and it said that it can't find anything better to install than what i have?! Also, When I try to update via intel, it says I have to go to my computer manufacturers website and update from there (Which is Dell) but that hasn't worked... I download a new Driver update package thing and a screen pops up with a million folders... Then what?!

    The easiest way to update your video and other drivers is to install a free program called Slimdrivers, google it and download from cnet if possible....less hassles with that site. Once you install it and open, just click scan, and it will offer you every latest driver on your computer for install.
