Why won't my CD drive work?

CD wont work in CD Drive! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!?

  • I am trying to get a cd to work in my cd drive, I know it is not the cd because it works in another computer. And i know its not the cd drive because when i put in a blank disc it reads it. I was wondering if the CD was Compatible with my driver. On the CD it says, minimum system requirements: windows 95 or higher (i have xp) 166 MHz CPU (??) 64 MB RAM (i have 500) 4x CD-ROM Drive ( on my CD drive there are stickers and they say: DVD r/rw, RW dvd+r DL and compact disc rewritable) sorry i dont know much about computers so please help. thank you in advance.

    that cd sounds pretty old, maybe it too old for your cd drive. plus the computer sound pretty fast. what the cd for? or the cd's for a different operating system.

i agree the cd is either for 95', 98' ,window 7, or not suitable for xp it can also be the disc, make sure its clean and when its in there it should have sounds try my computer> D: or E: or w/e u got
