Good programmable gaming mouse?

Good quality "gaming" mouse or multi-tasking mouse with programmable buttons, like the Razer Lachesis?

• I'm looking for a mouse that basically does the same thing as these high-end gaming mice do, but my purpose in using them would be to make simple computer usage faster, for example just macro-ing commonly used commands to the extra buttons. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I probably wouldn't use it for the intended purpose of macro-ing WOW or other online MMORPG's. Just simple stuff. I would be using it with a laptop with Windows 7. Does anyone know of one that is decent or should I go ahead and get the Razer Lachesis or Naga? The Lachesis has 8 or 9 programmable keys, and the Naga has 17 I think.   Hi Felix, I really like the Logitech G500 you can change its weight for different games and comfort and you can also change the dpi while you are playing a game.
