How do I add graphics to a video?

Is it possible to change/add a new video/graphics card to a macbook pro?

• I currently have a 13-inch macbook pro, and it is a great little machine. I looked it up and found that it has almost ideal specs for playing games. Only downside is that it has an intel 3000 graphics card which I think is built into the motherboard. Knowing that macs aren't exactly designed to be modified, is there a way to put in a new card, especially one not big enough to have to tape it under the laptop because it won't fit?

  You might be able to add a USB video adapter to a Macbook, but I doubt it would be faster. And you would need a monitor. I think another computer would be a better path.
