Can this graphics card work on this pc? And what more do i need to play fallout 3 on it?

no you have an integrated graphics card in your computer which in ALL cases sucks so no unless you upgrade the graphics card.

hi chris as you probally know this pc isnt that modern however you still have several option open to you and the good news is theres graphic cards that are compatible with your dell dimension 4600 that will run fallout 3 at pretty decent resolution and detail your pc supports the agp x8 bus interface and the two cards i would recommend are as follows,,with the first one being the "HIS HD 4670 IceQ Edition 1GB DDR3 Native HDMI DVI VGA Out AGP Graphics Card"( http://www.ebuyer.com/product/169945 ) as agp cards go this is one of the best...it has a 750mhz core clock and 1gb of ddr3 memory clocked at 1746mhz ddr effective...theres a 128bit memory interface and 320 stream processing units running "fallout 3" you would get around 30fps with your pc and considering anything over 25fps would be pretty smooth then the HD4670 is a card worth considering the next card i recommend is the "Sapphire HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 Dual DVI HDCP HDTV out AGP Graphics Card"( http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143873 ) ...this is the fastest agp card you can get,with a 256bit memory interface and 512mb of gddr3 memory running at 1656mhz and this will run any of todays games .....i had this card when i had my old agp pentium 4 based system and it was one hell of a graphic card,,,this comes highly recommended theres some other agp cards worth checking out and they can be found at http://www.scan.co.uk/Shop/Computer-Hardware/All/GPU-ATI/ATI-Radeon-X2400-HD4670-AGP-%28120-and-320-Cores%29 any problems let me know good luck mate !
