How do i use a capture card?

I like a lot of people want to record videos for youtube about modern warfare 2 and other games, but some people say that i should use a capture card to get the best quality and not to use a normal video camera. I dont want to buy one on amazon or at best buy until i know how to work it and what other things i need to buy with it and if u need any non-included accesories. Please help me figure this out cuz i dont no wat to hook it into . Oh AND I HAVE AN XBOX360

just download, and use Fraps - www.fraps.com/ - or buy a PCZone, and hope they still include it as a utility on the DVD on the cover. no capture card required. fraps is the most famous, but it tends to mnake BIIIG video files, like a gig or more. other software can produce smaller video files google "screen capture".
