Why does my webcam go straight too video call?

Logitech webcam 9000 mic works video dosnt?

• im using skype and im calling my cousin and he has exactly the same webcam as me. I call him and i talk to him and its fine but he uses video and mine is just hung up on starting video because it has the starting video and the circle going around but it never stops? I go to Tools/Options/Video Settings and it shows me myself then my camera lights up and it works fine but then i call them it seems like everything but my mic is dead no lights or anything just plain old still webcam. Please help me i am very frustrated and getting F&%^$&^ING ANGRY!!!

  i think you should update your drivers search the drivers here http://drivers.softpedia.com/ if your drivers are in .exe format then launch that file by double clicking it. if the drivers downloaded are in .zip format then right click on them > extract > then run device manager > right click on device > update driver > go through wizard > tell it do update from that extracted folder. if you don't know how to do the 'device manager' refer http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3425/3753988413_5fb05226a8_o.jpg otherwise i think your internet isn't fast enough so it just keeps buffering but not showing.
