How to install ethernet drivers with no internet?

i just installed windows xp n then i tried to setup my internet. But then i started having trouble with it. on my device manager says that i don't have the ethernet controller devices installed n i don't know how to install them when i have no internet n i lost the cd i got with my motherboard. thanks

you need to use another pc and go to the manufacturers website of the pc you need the driver for, look for support and driver downloads on their site and download the drivers you need for your model and operating system, save them to a flash drive or disc and use the drive or disc on the pc you want to put the drivers on and install them from there, you only really need the ethernet (nic) driver to get your pc online and from there go to the website and download the rest of the drivers for your pc
