Can i use my camera as a webcam? How?

If i plug my camera (olympus something) into my computer (Sony Vaio), Can i use it as a webcam for the computer? If yes, how? Thanks in advance.

Answer:
No, normally standard digital cameras don't allow input and transfers at the same time, if you turn the camera on it turns off the transfer mode... also, the camera can only save to a memory card. Only way you could use a standard digital camera as a web cam is if you could find a software and drivers to allow the computer to read strait from the device, which I've never seen.
