Why can't I install joomla?

I cant install left 4 dead on my windows vista i try to install it and a black box comes up then dissappeares.?

    install the game normally (assuming your computer specs can handle it) then don't run the game. go check for any patches and updates. then if it still crashes/ locks up go to the install directory and right click on the exe file that starts the game and select properties. then click on the compatibility tab, and set the compatibility to windows xp sp2 or sp3. then save up $140 and buy an OEM copy of windows 7 home premium.

i agree with maverick! vista is a big issue as well but since he has installed the game on vista it shouldnt be a problem. it is a hardware possibility. check out this site before purchasing games to see how they will run on your computer http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI/intro.aspx its a great site to see what it would run like and if it will run on ur system before purchase.if thats not the case. try doing some windows updates and then installing the game. i've had this problem as well before and what i found is that sometimes u just need to let it load for 10-15 mins.

Check how to install the game - it might come to you with a special package (not an original version) If there's a setup file, then check your computer specs, is it compatible with the game? note: however, I tried to install left 4 dead and it works! on vista. But there's an issue that when you uninstall it, it will change your fonts setting on windows (browser's fonts, Windows' fonts, etc), so if you want to uninstall the game, just delete the directory rather than uninstall it from control panel.
