Whats wrong with this setup!? Videocard to tv hookup, SvideoToRCA>RCAcable->RCAtoSvi…
-
I'm not getting a signal right now. What seems to be the problem?? I have the correct 7pin svideo adapter out of my video card, which converts to rca. I took a long rca cord and plugged it into the rca. My tv is old so it doesn't have rca input but it does have svideo 4pin input. So I put another adapter to back convert rca to svideo 4pin. No signal. I have had this hooked up in the past using just rca on another tv of mine. Yet this should still work, whats the problem? I really don't want to have to get an rf modulator. SvideoToRCA>RCAcable->RCAtoSvideo.

Answer:
If the TV has SVideo, then get an SVideo cable to go between the computer and TV. You cannot convert from RCA back to SVideo.

Make sure you have hooked to the video IN connector. Put the TV on video input , channel 3 or 4 wont work. Do you have a vcr with RCA input? Try that.
