Do I backup recovery drive D to my external hard drive?
-
I'm running Vista for business on a new Dell. I just backed up my entire C drive to my WD external hard drive. Do I also back up Recovery drive D to my external hard drive or leave it alone? Thanks for you help.

Answer:
I'd back it up if your recovery program didn't already do it. It is part of your hard drive reserved with recovery information.

No you don't need your recovery drive backed up. If someone did go wrong with your computer. You would first try and get the data of drive d and if the worst comes to the worst you then use your external hard drive where all your files were backed up to.
