USB mouse not working with USB ports in keybord...?

Hello! I have a DELL SK-8135 keyboard (which has no drivers). This keyboard provides USB ports. The problem is when i plug in my mouse it doesnt work. The mouse is being powered as its laser turns on, but my windows VISTA doesnt detect any mouse. The usb ports of keyboard are working fine as i pluged my usb and transfered some data through it. The mouse is working fine too as when i connect it directly to computer usb ports it works fine. It is really convinient for me to attach my mouse to keyboard instead of back of computer as my mouse wire is small. Thank you for your help!

There is probably not enough power to the mouse. Even though the light is on there are still sensors, etc. which need very specific power sources. I recommend you try another USB device in you keyboard, like a flash drive. If this doesnt work either, then its a driver issue, but if it does then its the power problem.

The keyboards that provides extra USB ports, In addition one usb cable for the keyboard they have some usb ports for USB devices that connect ro the key board. make sure that extra usb cables are connected to the Case.

This is due to error in usb port of your key board.If your mouse cable is very small then you can purchase an usb extension board which very large cable,and having multilpe usb port in it.
