I need help reconnecting my web cam!?

i have a sony vaio notebook. it crashed a few months back and i am still tryin to get everything back which for the most part i have EXCEPT my web cam. i cant for the life of me figure out how to reconnect it so. it you have the model VGN CR140E and you can help PLEASE DO! oh and it isnt as simple as sending it to a dealer... i live in germany and would have to ship it back to the states and most likely pay more for them to ship it and fix it than it would be to just buy a new computer.

What about the cams manufactures website? If its a vaio laptop try sonys faq section or there knowledge base.
