How can I get the online free channels on my pc?

Just purchased USB TV tuner for PC. Cant get channels?

  • Hi All, Just purchased the Kaiser Bros USB digital TV for my PC, but everytime i search/scan for channels it comes up with 0. I live approx 8kms from Melborne CBD so i don't think signal strength should be the issue. Any ideas before i break it out of frustration? Cheers

    If you have a money back guarantee, then simply return the tuner card and go for a software based TV. Do not get an arbitrary software based - it may not work well at all. The one that I mention here is the one that works the best. Kaiser Baas USB digital TV tuner might need a codec. I use 2005 Windows Media Center Edition and had to upgrade my Power Dvd 5 to Cyberlink Power Dvd 6 to get the picture to work. I think its MPEG 4 codec. Nvidia PureVideo Decoder is another one that is commonly used. http://www.nvidia.com/page/purevideo.html
