Can you name good microphone brands?

• I would like to purchase a microphone which can record my voice at decent quality. I would like to talk over videos, no singing or musical instruments. I would prefer a desktop microphone which can sit on my table and can be plugged in via USB into my PC. I would also like to have a shockmount which comes with the microphone and hopefully a pop filter, but the pop filter isn't necessary as I can buy that separately if it comes down to it. I'm asking on Y!A because I have no knowledg about this whatsoever. --- If you're going to the extra step and finding specfic models, could you try and make sure it's all under £80? Around $120.

  Microphones have to be carefully selected to suit your voice and the purpose. An excellent all rounder is still the shure sm58, but it's a little over your price range.
