Why wont my dvd+r work on my computer?

Why doesnt my audio work on my computer. its brand new and it wont work?

  • i got a new computer and my audio wont work at all..... it says something is wrong with the device! how do i check it?

  • Answer:

OK got to the start menu and right click on my computer and click manage. then when the window pops up go to device manager. then go to audio devices and right click on the device and click uninstall. now go to your models web site(exc. dell.com) and go to the support or downloads or drivers downloads and find your models and look for downloads for drivers for your audio device. If you cant just restart your computer and there should be the FOUND NEW HARD WARE thing pop up. if it doesnt install automaticly then you have to fond the driver. if you see a part in the device manager that says unknown devices, uninstall that one.

which device? and also, you may need audio drivers, did your pc come with any disk's? you may also need to check and see if your stuff is hooked up right(weiring). if you have any manuals, search the manuals for help on the specific issues.

Pooper J

you need to install the driver man... go to control panel/ add/install hardware or something like that and see if your sound thing is activated and working properly

TacoChef

You probably need to install the sound card driver.
