How do I get my sound back?

How do i get sound back on my pc?

  • Ive reset my pc back to factory settings and the sound icon is gone completely and know ive got no sound ive tried everything Control panel the lot ive looked on the net and they all seem to charge can anyone help me.

    dude always post ur laptop model and other infoz... go to device manager (right click on my computer and click manage/ control panel>device manager)> sound controllers. any yellow icons? right click on the sound driver>click update (make sure u r connected to internet) if there are no sound drivers google around for the sound driver using your laptop brand and model>download and install it>restart or go to manufacturer'S website and search for sound card driver for your model for example: sony.com (for sony laptops) hope this helps///\\\
