What video camera for amateur filming?

• I plan on buying a 100$-300$ video camera for amateur filming. It has to be something small and that can shoot 720p-1080p. I heart was litterally dead set on buying the Kodak PlayFull Dual Zi12. I literally postponed buying a new camera for 3 months because that camera was coming out. It does 1080p at 60fps, slow-mo mode, external mic jack, etc. And it was only supposed to be 200-300$. BUT, unfortunately Kodak canceled all future digital cameras. I'm sooo pissed, the release date was like 1 month away. So back to the drawing board (and my question), what video camera should i get for some amateur filming? outside scenes, maybe fast movement (running/cars), indoors, etc.
