How to store large amounts of data (350 GB) into zip, rar, or UNPAK. DAT file and compress it to 4 GB?

I NOTICED SOME PEOPLE WHEN THEY PUT DOWNLOADABLE VIDEO GAME FILES ON THE INTERNET, THEY PUT IT IN SOME TYPE OF FILE CALLED: UNPAK.DAT. WHEN I DOWNLOADED STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 2 PC GAME IT WAS IN A UNPAK.DAT FILE, THE FILE WAS 350 KB, BUT WHEN I UNPAKED IT, THE FILES INSIDE WERE 6.50 GB OF DATA. NOW I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO store large amounts of data (350 GB) into zip, rar, or UNPAK. DAT file and compress it to 4 GB or lower? Is there a software program I have to download? If you know the answer to my question please tell me.

Your best bet is 7-zip for maximum file compression, but you aren't going to get that much compression. It takes hours on a high end computer to compress bulk amounts of data and even then you will get maybe 65% on the highest compression settings. Considering you would then have to uncompress it to use the data, it would be better to just buy a new hard drive.

IF you did find a program that can compact that much data it would take you months to compact 350gb it takes several hours to compact game files

WinRar will compress your files, but the chance of getting that level of compression is very low.
