How do i change graphics settings on my computer?

  • I have an old game called Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, and it won't play on my computer. When I open up the game, the advertisements before it, as in the little cinematic they play to show off the LucasArts symbol, play frame by fram, like a slightly accelereated slide-show, when I'm selecting my vehicle the game does not show the vehice, and during the races all I get to see is the map, my pods shadow, and a beige screen. Obviously, the 3d drive is the problem, but I have no idea how to fix it or what to even change about it. Help someone?

    Windows 7 seems to be very incompatible with previous Windows versions. I've got plenty of software for previous Windows versions (95 & 98), and virtually none of it works on Windows 7. So annoying. (I can presume that's your case here.) Can try right click on the application, and select 'Troubleshoot Compatibility'. That doesn't even seem to work much.

lower your graphic settings this is done thru the desktop right click on desktop go to properties and lower your resolution ok then try the game if the game is three d you may need to load direct x from microsoft or a three d driver for your video card
