Where is the message archive stored?

Where are emails stored after compacting/archiving takes place on my PC?

• My PC came up with a message asking me if I wanted to compact or archive my emails. I clicked on yes and now I cannot find some of my old emails. Where are they stored on my PC? Many Thanks, AppleRight

• Answer:

  search for all files with the .pst file extension name you will find them. Once you have found where the file reside you open outlook and go to file menu and select ''open outlook data file'' Browse to your archive file and you will see two personal folders on the left: one is your actual email folder and the other contain your archived emails messages
