What to look for in a good webcam?

Hi there friendly people of the world! Would you like to help me find a high quality webcam? I was surfing Amazon and Ebay and I found some, but I'm not quite sure about some of the terminology. Okay here's the deal. I know, cheap webcams = BAD BAD BAD. But at the moment...I don't really care hahahaha(: I just want to be able to see my friend that I grew up with that moved back to Finland): If you'd REALLY like to give me a hand with this, I've compared three webcams that match up to par, but I don't know which one is the best out of all of them. The terminology is a bit confusing, like the "Max. static resolution, Max. dynamic resolution, Image sensor, Frame rate, Video mode" yeah that stuff. look for a webcam made by logitech or sony. Those are the best out there.
