Why has Windows Live Communications stopped working?

Windows live messenger stopped working?

My MSN was working fine until yesterday, and then yesterday when I tried to sign in a small box popped up and said "Windows is checking for a solution to the problem" and then after checking it, it read "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution available". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the messenger, restarting my computer, etc but it still says the same thing. I dont think I have done anything different to my computer to cause this problem. I have Windows 7 if that matters. Also, I can still talk to people when I log onto hotmail, through the chat system there, but the actual messenger is not working. Anyone know how to fix this?

I don't have an answer to that question but to tell you that im having the same problem and when i reinstalled msn it worked a little better but not much. Personally i think that because of the new hotmail its messing with the msn.... sorry this is not answer i was looking for an answer as well
